Maintenance Visits
Your plants, cared for on schedule, even when life gets busy
Routine care is what keeps a collection healthy, and it is the first thing to slip when work, family, or travel takes over. Maintenance visits put your plants on a steady routine handled by a horticulturist.
Flat $185 house call from Sarasota to Port Charlotte. Two hours, written plan included. Virtual consults from $65.
What gets done every visit
- Watering matched to each plant and each season, not a one-size schedule.
- Feeding when plants are actively growing, skipped when they are resting.
- Grooming: pruning, deadheading, staking, and cleaning foliage so plants look as good as they feel.
- A health check of every plant, so pests and problems get caught early instead of after they spread.
- A visit note so you always know what was done and how your plants are doing.
Built for real schedules
Snowbirds, frequent flyers, and anyone whose watering can has a guilt problem: this service exists so your plants stop depending on your calendar. Set a routine, hand me the details, and agree on care before you leave.
Real visits, clear prices
- Monthly: $125/month for one in-home visit.
- Twice monthly: $240/month for two in-home visits, spaced by agreement.
- Each visit covers up to 60 minutes and 15 accessible container plants, with a photo update.
- Extra routine visits are $125 each. Larger collections, oversized pots and weekly care need an agreed schedule and scope.
Start with Bloom, then choose a schedule
A separate $185 Bloom assessment establishes the plant inventory, watering needs and access arrangements. Book Bloom with an $89 deposit and $96 due at the visit. Maintenance starts only after you agree to the schedule and written scope. A monthly visit alone will not cover plants that need weekly watering.
Maintenance is invoiced monthly in advance after confirmation, with no automatic enrollment or annual commitment. Cancel before the next billing period to stop renewal. The 72-hour appointment change policy applies to scheduled visits; tell Jaci about access changes before a visit. Supplies and travel beyond 20 miles from Nokomis are quoted before payment. Repotting projects and pest treatment follow-ups are booked separately.
Canopy is remote support only. Grove provides four seasonal visits, not a regular watering schedule. Neither is required to buy maintenance.
Book the $185 Bloom assessment or ask about an in-home care plan. This request does not start billing or reserve a visit.
How this works, start to finish
-
Start
Find out what is actually going on
Two ways in, same visit and same price. A consultation is the whole collection: every plant identified, assessed, and put on a routine. A health diagnosis is one plant in trouble: what went wrong, and whether it can come back.
-
Treat
The fix gets done
Every visit ends with a written plan, and most of it you can do yourself. When you would rather not, Bloom includes repotting labor and initial pest care within its $185, 2-hour visit. Supplies are agreed separately. Follow-up care is $125 for up to 60 minutes and 15 plants.
-
Keep you are here
It stays fixed
Routine care is what makes the first two steps hold. Recurring visits handle the watering, feeding, grooming, and a health check every time, whether you are home or away. In-home care is $125 for one visit per month or $240 for two. Canopy is remote advice only; Grove adds quarterly reviews. Neither replaces regular watering visits.
-
Grow
You add to it on purpose
Once the collection is healthy, the fun part: new plants chosen for the light a room really gets, and arranged so they look like they were meant to be there.
You can stop after step one. Plenty of people take the written plan and run with it, and that is a good outcome. Nothing here rolls over into anything else on its own.
Common questions
How often do maintenance visits happen?
Choose one visit per month for $125 or two visits per month for $240. This is two visits per calendar month, not every 14 days. Some plants need weekly watering; extra visits are $125 each and the right frequency is agreed before you leave. There is no annual commitment.
Can you care for my plants while I travel?
Yes, and it is one of the most common reasons people call. Your plants get the same routine whether you are home or not: watering, feeding, and a health check every visit, with a note so you know how everything looked.
What does a visit include?
Watering matched to each plant, feeding in season, pruning and deadheading, cleaning dust off foliage, rotating for even growth, and a quick health check on every plant so small problems get caught while they are still small.
Every review of this business lives on our Google profile, where it is written by the customer, dated, and out of our hands. That is the only kind worth reading.
