Hi, I'm Jaci Brumble

I'm a horticulturist at Marie Selby Botanical Gardens in Sarasota, where I work closely with a vast diversity of tropical and warm-climate plants. I have an M.S. Horticulture degree and a deep love of tropical plants and the science behind what makes each one unique.

I grew up exploring the wild landscapes of Medford, Oregon, studied at BYU, and eventually followed the plants south to the Gulf Coast, where I plan to stay. From towering Sabal palms to delicate ranunculus blooms, plants have shaped how I see the world.

I started Evergreen House Plant Care because I kept hearing the same thing from homeowners: "I just don't have a green thumb." Nobody does at first. That's what experience and education are for. When your palm starts yellowing or your landscaping never bounced back after a storm, you shouldn't have to guess. Let me be your green thumb.
